Laser Abrasion for Precancerous Red Spots?

I have some red spots which appear to be lumpy on my forehead, I was told by a dermatologist that they could be pre-cancerous; I would like to get them removed via, laser abrasion. Is this a possibility? What is the best and least expensive way to treat it?
I am 56 years old and I have light skin color.
