Dear Azteh,

Thank you for your question.  Swelling can be asymmetric and can wax and wane.  This can also depend on external factors, such as bumping the nose, sleeping on one side of your nose, etc.  This effect will lessen the further you are from surgery.

I do not think that this would be abnormal. It may be positional and dependent on the way you sleep or the drainage patterns of your nose.
