Nine months ago in April of 2014, I underwent a lip reduction surgery for my top lip only. While things were healing over the first week, one of the internal stitches popped out while I was having a conversation, and my doctor made the decision to remove it altogether instead of letting it seal back up under the incision. Because this support was missing, over time the incision gradually lost strength, and split almost completely from where it was first sown. Can anything be done to repair this?
