Is It Ok to Take Polyenylphosphatidylcholine or Milk Thistle While on Accutane?

In my opinion, there's no problem taking either of these supplements, but if you have concerns, go over your supplements and meds with your prescribing physician. You don't need to take anything to assist liver function for Accutane purposes - the drug only affects the liver (minimally!) while you are on it, not after, so your liver will return to normal functions quickly. Many physicians will do blood tests throughout your Accutane course to determine any possible liver problems too. more
