Palomar Starlux5 vs Candela GentleMAX for Lighter Skin and Dark Hair?

The Alexandrite portion of the Gentlemax is made for this.

In fairness, I do not have experience with the Palomar Starlux 5. The alexandrite 755nm (on the Gentlemax, and on other lasers ex. cynosure), is perfectly suited to the combination of dark hair and light skin. When the skin gets darker, the Yag laser 1064 nm wavelength is often used. Hope this helps. Chris Peers MD
