Wanting a Mommy Makeover, How Soon Should I Be Finding a Plastic Surgeon if I'd Like this Done by the End of the Month?

I'm planning on having plastic surgery for a mommy make over (breast lift, tummy tuck and lipo) in Oct of 2012. How soon or close to take date should i start looking for a plastic surgeon. Hubby will be gone for deployment soon and he will be home by then, I need him home for this.

It is not unreasonable to start looking 4 to 6 months prior to surgery. You might want 2 or 3 consultations or more until you find the surgeon you are most comfortable with.When calling for a consultation appointment ask how far out the surgery schedule is. Choosing a plastic surgeon to perform your procedure should not be done in a rush and you do need to do your homework. It is not too early right now to start with one or more consultations with (a) plastic surgeon(s). Two of the benefits are that your husband can be with you at the consultation(s) before he is deployed and can help you with the decision making and that if you need to do something such as lose weight before the surgery, you will have a lot of time to accomplish it. You can certainly schedule your consultation now, too early is much better than too late. Seeing the physician early can give you more time to choose the surgeon you feel most comfortable with.
