I had a bilateral mastectomy with DIEP flap reconstruction 20 days ago that lasted 15 hours. My feet have been numb and tingling

I spent five days in the hospital and my feet were numb the entire time. I've been home for 2 weeks and the numbness has improved to tingling. My doctors are saying it's from the long surgery/ positioning and say it will take time. Every night I am unable to sleep due to constant throbbing/shooting pains in my ankles and feet.I am no longer taking pain medication Because my breast and abdomen pain is very manageable. Is there anything that can be recommended for this unbearable pain in my feet?
