Where is the Best Place to Go for Acne Scar Removal in Pittsburgh, PA?

I have a dozen pitted acne scars on my face, and I want to get them removed. The problem is, I'm having trouble trying to find the right doctor. First off, I'm not sure if I should go to a dermatologist or plastic surgeon. And secondly, when I visit websites for these doctors, I don't see any other methods of scar removal than laser resurfacing, but I am not 100 percent sold on that idea. I want someone who has alot of experience in this field to help me. Any recommendations?
