Pixel Laser - Recovery After High-setting Treatment

Is a lot of brown crusting occurring immediately after Pixel treatment normal? The nurse told me it was normal but she also told me she used the highest setting which really got me scared. I'm afraid that I am permanently scarred!

If this is normal how long should it take to go away? I've read lots of user reviews and have not seen that anyone has had the crusting (at least to the extent that I have) it is on most of my face, darker around temples and cheeks. HELP!!
