Is Pixel an Effective Solution for Hyperpigmentation?

My Doctor has recommended to go for Pixel after Chemical peeling for 4 times did not give much difference. Is Pixel worth trying on my legs where the pigmentation is much darker.
I can't afford to have but trying because I hope it is going to be effective so I desperately want to know whether it is worth trying. Will one sitting be enough? How many days will it take to see the changes. All experiences and expert advise are welcome. Thanks.
