Piercing Nose After Rhinoplasty

Can i pierce my nose 5 months after rhinoplasty? I asked my doctor and he said to wait a whole year...I think that's a little too long to be honest. Would 5 months be long enough??

Nose piercing after rhinoplasty

I agree with your physician and it is probably best to wait at least 10 months to a year to give your tissues a chance to heal before they are exposed to a foreign body. The nose continues to heal for at least a year and I would not want my patients to compromise their results.
