Phoenix Lifestyle lift discussion

Has anyone out there had a lifestyle lift in the Phoenix area? Any information on the Phoenix Lifestyle Lift experience would be much appreciated.

I can't find online anywhere that describes the Lifestyle Lift procedure. Where are the incisions? What exactly does the physician do to your face? Is the procedure invasive? Is skin cut away? Please inform me and many others who are interested in more information. Thanks.

Louise - Dr. Henderson cut in front of the ear and in back of the ear. I had the procedure done in January. Excess skin is cut off you cannot even see the scars in front of the ear the ones on the back are still a bit red but mending well. The front ones from what I can tell are just inside the ear.

My girlfriend had this procedure in Phoenix. She is horrified at the scars and I am trying to hide my horror when looking at her. This Dr. considers self to be a PHYSICIAN! This woman is ruined, my heart just cries for her disfigurement and sorrow.

Sandy, What effect does arnica montana and rutin have on your recovery? Did your physician recommend this prior to surgery? And did you really have to "stay in bed" for a week, or just stay at home? Thanks for the info.

Does LSL do any procedures that involve the eyes?

I am an English teacher from Mesa, and I had a consultation at LSL last week. My sister had the procdure done yesterday, and I have been thinking seriously about getting it done (obviously, since I had the consult, which cost me $400 deposit.) We'll see how my sis does, and I'll go from there. However, I am very concerned after reading all the posts on this site (I have also read all of San Diego's posts, as well as Seattle's.) As I said, I am an English teacher, so my job is to study people's writing styles, and what concerns me is that the people who post on these sites who are so totally excited about the LSL seem, to me, like employees of LSL. They always talk about how important it is to follow the directions (duh!! I think we already know that!) and--at least in Seattle--they talk about how important it is to "do your research." Plus, they get hostile when someone expresses concern--like the guy above who was concerned about how horrifying his girlfriend looked. To me, he seemed like a nice guy who would go out of his way to HIDE his horror from his girlfriend and who would actually do research on her behalf on the interenet. But if you look at the posts below his, you see real hostility, which--I would bet--is coming from LSL employees. Who else would care enough to lambaste the poor guy. Just my thougthts. As I said, I'll see how my sis does and go from there, but the assembly line mentalily of what I experienced last week, as well as the OBVIOUS misleadings make me think I won't proceed. FYI--the recovery time is not like they say. My sister is swollen and no where near being able to go out in public, plus she has "pull" lines that concern me.

Kendra, Do you have to put money down ($400 deposit) just to get the consult???????? Will you be able to get it back if you chose not to proceed with the LSL?

Like a lot of people on this list, I am considering having the procedure done in Phoenix. Most of the positive comments from people have come shortly after the procedure was done. I've seen comments elsewhere that state that the results were short lived. Is there anyone still on this list that has had long term results - positive or negative to share? Thanks.

I just had my consultation today and am doing some research within the 7 days allowed for cancellation. Has anyone had the procedure done recently in Phoenix and what results have you had. I would appreciate hearing the results of Kendra's sister's surgery. This forum is helpful to those of us looking for answers.

I am looking at having LSL in Phoenix. However after reading all of the comments I am still unsure. First - if the cost is still $4000-$6000 and it sounds like it is then I may want to head south to Mexico. Second - I have really short hair and it appears that the scarring can be a problem. Lastly - I am concerned with how long-lasting the results would be. If anyone has had a more recent experience in Phoenix or has thoughts on these concerns please respond. Thanks
