BBL and Silicone Injections, Is it Safe To Receive Fat Transfer?

I don't know what provider has performed these procedures for you but I would re-evaluate their credentials.  This is not an appropriate method of  soft tissue augmentation in my opinion.

I will NOT do a BBL procedure to a patient who has had silicone injections into the buttocks.  The reason being is that the silicone injections are typically placed throughout the entire area of the buttocks and are permanent.  There is no easy way to remove silicone injections (or biopolymer) as they are not contained and localized.  If you had a BBL procedure, injecting the fat can cause bacteria to contaminate the silicone injections causing an infection that would be a disaster to treat.  The bacteria can stick to the silicone and would be almost impossible to remove with antibiotics and would require a large area of debridement which would cause a huge cosmetic deformity.  I definitely recommend against doing a BBL after any kind of permanent injection into the buttocks.
