Can permanent makeup blackened by laser be corrected?

Can someone with permanent lipcolor that was blackened by laser have the color reversed by implanting a correction pigment into it? Is there anything that can be used to prevent laser from harming permanent makeup?

It may be possible to lighten the color up with an opposing color. Please see an experienced artist to determine if this is possible for you. In the future to protect your lips from lasers I would suggest using the white zinc oxide sunblock during your laser appointments. This may block out most of the light that would react with your pigment. I hope this helps!
