Permanent makeup that gradually fades?

Is there any compromise between everyday makeup and permanent makeup, i.e., makeup that doesn't wash off but gradually fades away within 1-2 years? I don't want makeup lasting 5-10 years, but something that fades away within 24 months would be nice. Is this even an option today? Thanks!

there are no 'temporary' inks at this time and properly implanted high quality pigment will normally give you over 24 months before it begins to fade significantly. Brows fade quicker than eyeliners and lips. Lips actually stay pretty well once they are "in".

The 'right' color is most important. Whether that be a light, medium, dark, warm or cool color is dependant upon your skintone and complexion. Too dark is NEVER a good idea.. fading aside.
