Did I Get A Permanent Burn with At-Home 15% TCA Peel?

I have done about 14 TCA peels on my face, 15% solution. I did a few spot treatments on some persistent acne marks. I daubed the TCA on with a Q-tip. I re-daubed the areas several times with moderate pressure and left it on for a just a little over a minute. (For my normal full-face peels I do 50-60 seconds.) Well, it looks like it dripped down my face or something and now I have brown marks on both sides of my face. Why did this happen and is it permanent?
