Is Perlane a Hyaluronic Acid?

Yes, Perlane is a filler made by the same company that makes Dysport and Restylane. Dysport is a botulinum agent like Botox, and Restylane is also a hyaluronic acid. Fillers can be used to treat different facial folds and wrinkles bases on the size and thickness of the product. For example, Restylane is very thin and is great for fine lines and around the eyes. Juvaderm and Perlane are thicker and therefore used more for the nasolabial folds and lips. This varies by doctor and... more

Is Perlane a Hyaluronic Acid or Something Else?

Yes Perlane is a hyaluronic acid but it is a thicker filler and is meant to be injected into fatty layers...this means it is not appropriate for the lips and thin lower eyelid skin. Hope this helps.

Perlane is the thickest HA of them all.

Perlane is a Medicis product in the Restylane family. It is composed of larger particles with more crosslinking than Restylane making it the ideal Hyaluronic to place deeper into the tissue for those deeper folds and volume loss. Perlane is hyaluronic acid

Yes Perlane is a hyaluronic acid but it is a thicker filler and is meant to be injected into areas needing deeper correction and more volume replacement It really is just a thicker version of Restylane and I've always thought a much better and less confusing name would be Restylane Plus.

Yes, Perlane is a gel formulation of hyaluronic acid

Yes, Perlane is a clear gel formulation of hyaluronic acid that restores volume and fullness to correct moderate to severe wrinkles and folds such as the nasolabial folds. Perlane is often the best choice for deep wrinkles because it is made up of large particles that can be injected deeper into the skin. For most patients, perlane injections last up to 9 months. Other hyaluronic acids include Restylane and Juvederm.

Perlane is a thicker hyaluronic acid filler

Perlane is made by Medicis which is the same company that makes Restylane. It is a thick hyaluronic acid filler that is excellent for deeper nasolabial fold wrinkles. Hyaluronidase is a liquid that is injected to dissolve injections of hyaluronic acid like Restylane, Juvederm, or Perlane.
