Payment for facelift surgery

A facelift is a major purchase, and an important one. Patients should adjust their budgets as they would with any major purchase, and not incur debt they cannnot handle. Many patients prefer to have fillers and Botox until the time they can make such a major purchase.

Facelift: Don't make Compromises

The majority of patients currently asking for Facelifts in my practice still pay cash. A small minority use programs like Care Credit. Despite the nature of some infomercials offering quick fixes, the majority of Facelifts will cost in the neighborhood of 10k (give or take a few thousand depending on the area). This statement applies to Facelifts performed by Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeons or Plastic Surgeons who consistently obtain great, long lasting results. The reason for this... more

Financing FaceLifts

While credit is tight, it is still available. If you do not have the savings, a third party financing company such as CareCredit is a good option. Avoid financing companies that charge exorbitant interest rates and be wary of centers that are internally financing surgery.

Paying for cosmetic surgery

A facelift is elective cosmetic surgery and is paid for prior to the surgery. Some patients choose financing options such as Visa, MasterCard, and Care Credit. There are plenty of people still performing facelifts even in this down economy.

Paying for a facelift

The expense for a facelift surgery is often saved for in advance. That being said, many people choose to finance their surgery with either a credit card, or finance company, or a second mortgage. The options need to make sense for you.

Payment for cosmetic surgery

Not everyone is rich and can afford plastic surgery. Many people save for a long time to get the procedures they want. Some have good credit and can either use a credit card or financing options like Carecredit. Some people even borrow from relatives. I encourage people not to go into debt for cosmetic surgery.

Cosmetic Surgery is, after all, a luxury

Hi there- If your cosmetic surgery is going to mean your children don't eat or your mortgage will be late, you should re-examine your priorities. Having said that, many people find that financing their surgery preserves their cash stores and allows them to still have the procedure they want. Many options exist for financing and they will vary with the surgeon- you should find a surgeon you like and ask what programs they work with.

Elective surgery: Have surgery when you can afford it.

This is elective surgery and that means that it can be postponed to a point when you have adequate funds to pay for the procedure. There are all sorts of other financial arrangements available that patients utilize to pay for the procedure.

Paying for cosmetic surgery procedures

I have used several credit organizations over the years, and I have been consistently pleased with Carecredit. Credit is much harder to get nowadays as we all know, but Carecredit seems to still be able to finance procedures for most people with decent credit. It is easy to apply with them on-line, even before your consult. There are other ways to take the financial sting out of elective plastic surgery procedures. The economic downturn has affected plastic surgeons, and most, whether... more

How to pay for a facelift

Most people view a facelift as an investment, and unlike the stock market, it pays an immediate return which you can enjoy for the rest of your life. People who are in between jobs will often choose that time period to have surgery as it's said that "you wear your resume on your face". If you have loose skin and want to look as good as you can to improve your self image, or your attractiveness to others, then the investment is worthwhile. Some people use personal funds, some use... more

Financing Plastic Surgery

Plastic Surgery like facelifts should not be something that strains your finances. The most reasonable way to achieve your goals is to put the cost into your budget. This is true, even if you believe the surgery will give you an edge toward a better job. If you do not have the ready cash, but can afford a monthly payment, then you can either finance your surgery through a company like CareCredit or create an account at your bank that you deposit into regularly until you have enough saved. Paying for a facelift

Many people either don't have the resources to pay for a facelift at this time, or if they have the money, are reluctant to spend the it until this period of uncertainty passes. The people who are doing facelifts are either borrowing the money from banks that are lending, or have the money that they have saved of inherited. More people are doing less expensive, and less invasive procedures at this time, such as fillers and Botox to bide the time until they are able to afford the... more

We now more than ever try to create alternatives for our patients so they can afford to at least start along the way to their goals. We also spend a lot of time educating them what will give them the most "bang for their buck" so they properly allocate their resources. Dr. Mayl

Paying for a Face Lift

It is important to be responsible when purchasing any luxury item and a facelift is no different. For those who it would be too much of a stretch do pay for surgery less invasive treatments such as facial injections with fillers such as Juvederm and Botox can be cheap although less effective alternatives. For those who do not have all the money on hand there are credit companies that will finance surgery similar to buying a car with monthly payments over the course of a 3 to 5 years. more

Paying for plastic surgery

I agree. If you cannot afford the procedure, then you should not have it. Some people who are having financial difficulty are considering less invasive procedures such as Botox and Juvederm injections to hold off until they can afford major plastic surgery.

Facelift

Hi, Many people can still get credit or have credit from before. Also, shop around. Prices vary all over the country. What may cost 10K in one city may cost 5k in another. Quality does not always correlate with price. Just look at some celebrities. Best, Dr.S.

Cosmetic surgery should not tap all your resources

If the economy has made it impossible for you to have cosmetic surgery without tapping all your resources, you should wait until you have saved enough to do it without strain. Patients who have surgery without undue financial stress do better and can deal with the rare but occasional need for revisions that may carry some cost.
