Paper Thin Skin on Cheeks Due to Microdermabrasions. Treatment Suggestions?

a cosmetologist did microdermabrasion on my skin 5 years back, it was for my acne scarring, he did it with too much pressure and my very thick skin was deeply thinned out at my cheeks only. Now after passage of 5 years skin from that very area is becoming more membranous and thinned out. It gets too many lines when i smile whereas the rest of it is thick and intact. I am 34 years old now with overall a fine looking skin. Scars are still there to some extent. pls advice a cream or treatment.
