Can Fraxel or any other laser be used successfully to smooth the lips (mucous membrane) that have severe wrinkling and some scar tissue from flash burns and second degree burns? Is their a preferred laser or other procedure that would work best? I have also lost some pigment in my lips as a result of the fire I was in. Tattooing didn't work very long and I am wondering if that is because the lips are mucous membrane and not skin. Thanks!
