How Painful is the Co2 Fractional Laser Procedure?

Pain and CO2 Fraxel treatments
That is a very good question and it depends upon several factors. The first being your overall pain tolerance. If you have a good tolerance to pain, it typically is not as painful as traditional CO2 resurfacing. It also depends upon the depth of penetration or how deep they take the laser on you. The second consideration is if it done with some sedation or without preoperative medications. Often preoperative medication can alleviate or lessen the pain associated with the procedure. I hope this information helps.
