I have pain and numbness in areas on my scalp where surgery not performed. I had a large lipoma removed from the occipital scalp
What is the Pain and Numbness Following Removal of Occipital Scalp Lipoma. Not Incision.

Pain and numbness from neck lipoma surgery
more that likely either a superfical sensory nerve was cut or either the lesser or greater occipital nerve was cut during the surgery. this should resolve itself in a month or so. the numbness may persist for 6-12 months and come back partially.
