Pain with tissue expansion

After each expansion session, you may experience some soreness that can last up to a few days. postoperative pain medications may be needed to help you with your soreness. If you are experiencing pain, you may want to slow down your expansion plan. Take more time in between each expansion session and/or do less filling each session. Hope this helps. Dr. Basu Houston, TX

Tissue expander

There often is some discomfort as the chest is expanded with a tissue expander. This is the discomfort of the tissue stretching.
