What Can I Do About Pain During Abdominal Exercises and Stretching After Tummy Tuck?

Im almost a year PO from a tummy tuck. Everytime i try to ab work it feels like it is pulling and painful for the rest of the day and the next day as well. Stretching my core also has the same problem. I just stuck with cardio and excluded ab work till now, i assumed the pain was my body telling me to hold off but everything i read says i should be able to do core work by now. Is this something i need to push through or will i injure myself by pushing forward with it?

Pain one year after tummy tuck is rare.

Pain at this point is unusual. There are several possibilities from deconditioning to nerve entrapments. The first step is to visit with your plastic surgeon and discuss your issues.

Pain in abdomen 1 year post tummy tuck

Your symptoms are extremely rare for being one year post tummy tuck. You should follow up with your plastic surgeon and have him/her assess your situation and make any appropriate recommendations.
