I always had pain in my jaw so I went to maxillo-facial Dr. he told me that my jaw was overgrown and deviated. I suffer from breathing too. so I was to an ORL Dr. he told me that my septum is deviated and I had to correct this deviation. When I laugh my nose's tip point down and almost touch my upper lip. My questions are: is there a connection between my nose deviaton and my jaw deviation and overgrown? And how to fix it? Ps: I am Italian.

Connection between my nose and jaw problems? (photo)

80% of people have a "deviated" septum, and only if this crooked part of your anatomy is causing difficult breathing, a sinus problem, or a markedly crooked nose should it be fixed, in my opinion. The mere existence of a deviated septum is not an indication for surgery. If disproportion between upper and lower jaws is an aesthetic or functional problem, see a surgeon who regularly performs orthognathic procedures.
