Orthodontics, Position of the Upper Lip? (photo)

I ´m going to have orthodontics to correct the position of my lips, my upper lip is advanced with respect to the lower lip, In my childhood I sucked my finger, biting pen caps, bottle caps, etc. But now when I glance at my teeth, I realize that these are in a good position, except for some.My question is:is there another reason for the position off my lips??besides having teeth in bad position? In my family no one have this problem, so I don´t think this is genetic.The pic is similar to my case

Unfortunately, your case cannot be diagnosed with someone else's picture. I would also need to see quality photos of your teeth from various angles.
