The majority of my tongue is covered by a large, white patch of what resembles hair. It looks like my tongue is covered in short, white fur that can't be scraped away. I'm 20 years old, and my tongue has looked like this for at least the past couple years. Could this be oral hairy leukoplakia? I don't have HIV or oral cancer (I've been tested) and I don't smoke. What about geographic tongue? I googled photos of both conditions and I think my tongue looks more like the photos of OHL. Please help?
