Options to Improve Face and Smile Without Braces? (photo)

I have what I think is a bit of a recessed jaw. Maybe both upper and lower? I also have an overbite. I'm 26 years old. In an ideal world, I imagine i'd be a good candidate for othognathic surgery. Maybe bring my jaws forward, widen the pallet and align my bite with braces for a few years? However, at my age, I'm not sure I want to be in braces for years and years. I'm wondering what options are avaiable to me. I have uploaded pics with captions to help illustrate my issues

Maybe get the chin a little wider and extended/prominent would ahve the effect of pulling the skin around the neck and mouth tighter, which would given the effect you can see when I push the area in with my finger? (as in the pic)
