Open Wound Following Cyst Removal On Face, What Can Be Done?

i had a minor cyst removal from my face and the wound was closed with 4 stitches. the problem is that a week later when i had my sutures removed the wound edges opened up and now there is about 5mm separation between wound edges with no overlying skin. since this is on my face i am wondering if the scar can be re-opend and restitched again and how soon can this be done? thanks!
