Hello Doctor, I had open rhinplasty surgery exactly 1 year and 3 months ago to reduce the size of my nose which had a prominent bridge and a somewhat bulbuous tip. I hav moderately thick skin being of asian origin. 1 year and 3 months after the surgery, i still have a hard hump near the bridge. It does not feel like bone thouhg. I have a lot of hardness and stiffnes right from bridge to tip. I have numbness and nose seesm to shift to left side more and feels a little crooked. What is happening?

Open Rhinoplasty Results not Achieved

Whether or not an implant was used during your original surgery it sound like a revision  will be necessary. Schedule an examination with your surgeon and/or a consultation with another surgeon to get a second opinion. Make sure the doctors selected are experienced revision rhinoplasty experts.

Strange feeling in nose after rhinoplasty

I would agree Dr, Mayer, This sounds as if you have a graft or implant. This may have shifted. Contact your physician and seek his/her advice,

You may have had a silicone implant placed. Ask your surgeon if it was used or other graft material. If not, see an experienced revision rhinoplasty surgeon for a second opinion.
