Hi! I have a scar for the last 26 years from a burn. It is on chest area this quite a large area; the scar is raised. What are my options for getting rid of it?

My options for old burn scars on the chest are usually non surgical:
Selective IIT
Pressure Treatment
Pulsed Dye Scar Laser (PDSL)

Burn scars are usually not removed.

Unfortunately burn scars do not lend themselves to removal. There are topical solutions that can be applied to scars to minimize the appearance. There are also newer techniques being tried and you can look for improvements in burn scar treatment in the next few years through some of the lasers that are being developed. Hang in there.
