Is 33 units of Botox enough? I'm two weeks post-procedure, and have very faint results (Photo)

this amount is VERY high and typically works fantastically. I suggest speaking to your physician.  After 2 weeks you can always get more.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Hi Kiki.  I think you are experiencing what many consumers think does not exist.  The difference between a good and a not so good injector.  With 33 units, you should have been able to get full effects in the area between the eyes (frown lines) and the forehead and as you stated, this was the case in the past with 30 units.  Your new injector either didn't use 33 units or they injected it in a way that did not achieve your goals.  Either way, it's probably time to return to your original injector.  

Typical 8-12 units is adequate for treatment of horizontal forehead lines. If you received Dysport (as opposed to Botox) 33 units wouldn't be unreasonable since you require about 2.5 times the number of units of Dysport for the equivalent effect of Botox.
