My niece is 7 years old and she has excessive hair growth under her chin down to her neck. It's pretty long and her school companions are starting to notice and make fun of her. Would it be safe to have it removed by laser or can you suggest an alternative. Thank you for your input. Dawn

It is very hard to get hair to stop growing. Bouncing light from a laser can't cause this. Hypothyroidism can present this way and I'd get your TSH level checked.
