Obagi Nu-Derm Okay to Use if Fair-skinned Asian?

The Obagi Nu-Derm line has more risks for (african/asian). If I'm a fair-skinned asian, would I be suited to use this line? This line is said to not be suited for those of african or asian descent due to their dark skin colour and banned in Africa/Asia because of their ethnicity + dark skin: how its connected with ochronosis. I am a fair-skinned asian (Taiwanese descent) no where no dark, would I be suited for this line?
