Hi everyone! I'm desperatly trying to rid of all my acne scars and sun spots on my face. I have pitted and dark spots from severe acne years before and it still hasn't faded. I am searching for a treatment between Obagi blue peel (TCA chemical peel) and diamond microdermabrasion. Between the two, which will show real results in one session? I'm on a budget enough for one or two. I understand that there should be at least 3-4 but again I'm on a budget and hoping to scruff off even partial!

Obagi blue peel or microdermabrasion for acne scars
Obagi blue peels are great for sunspots but will do nothing for acne scars. One or two microdermabrasions will probably not do much for either. For acne scarring your best choices are fractionated lasers or eMatrix fractionated radiofrequency treatments.

Obagi Blue Peel vs. Microdermabrasion
I don't do the Obagi blue peel anymore as it's exceptionally rough on the skin, especially in Las Vegas. However, if this is your question, I'd say the blue peel will show you more drastic results than microdermabrasion. Microderm is very superficial and does not help with pitted acne scars and dark spots. It's a very light treatment and does not have drastic results.
