Most plastic surgeons perform abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) procedures. Short scar abdominoplasty is usually combined with liposuction to help achieve a nice aesthetic result. The best advice is to talk with your surgeon about their approach to abdominoplasty. If you do not have any friends who have had an abdominoplasty, talk to the other patients in the waiting room to see what they think of the surgeon and if they are happy with their surgeon.
