Does the Nose Right Actually Work?

I'm wondering. Because it says it can get rid of a dorsal bump and even make your nose smaller by shaping cartilage? And can't a dorsal bump be like made because your cartilage is lower then the nasal bone? So if the nose right makes cartilage smaller then wouldn't that make the dorsal bump even larger?

Like in this picture it would make the cartilage smaller only? And the dorsal bump stick out more?

How to remove a dorsal bump during Rhinoplasty

I have performed Rhinoplasty for over 20 years and to remove a dorsal hump, you first must determine whether bone, cartilage or both make up the dorsal hump and remove what's appropriate.

Rhinoplasty

Dorsal bumps on the nose are composed of variable quantities of bone and cartilage. They can be 50:50, 75:25 etc. The surgeon needs to asses this prior to surgery when planning surgery. The bone portion is removed by rasping and/or osteotomy. The cartilage portion is removed with a scissor and/or scalpel. If there is a deficit of cartilage in this area it is a deficient septum and we call this a ski slope deformity.
