Removing a Fleshy Bump of Skin Above Nostril?

How can a fleshy bump of skin above the nostril be removed? It has gradually gotten bigger the last few years. It does not have a head and it is not a mole.

Depends on exam

Hi, You need to see a good plastic surgeon to be examined. Tumors and cancers can show up anywhere and any growing mass should always be evaluated. The removal or reduction or even biopsy depends on the kind of mass. You always try to approach the nose from inside to avoid scars on the skin of the nose. But some masses that involve skin need an external biopsy and will lead unfortunately to a scar on the outside. You should have it checked out regardless and then weigh your options.... more
