I had 4 syringes of Juvederm premium in my cheeks 3 days ago no bruising, I looked great now on the third night I notice wrinkles that were not there before and I don't look as good as I did before. Is it normal to lose some of the volume normal after a few days. I paid $2800 it's a lot if it doesn't look any better than before! I was thinking of doing other areas in a few months, but now I am having second thoughts.
Answer: Some wrinkles returning after fillers It is common in the first few days to have some swelling which makes some wrinkles disappear, and once the swelling goes away, the wrinkle seem to show up. However, a hyaluronic acid filler binds water so if you wait 6-8 weeks, it should in fact look even better, so be patient. That said, you may need more filler or other treatments for remaining wrinkles.

Answer: Wrinkles after Juvederm injections There may be some swelling after the injections that may have an initial wrinkle reducing effect. Expect volume and filling from Juvederm. Wrinkles will not all be gone immediately, but they will improve over time, as will the overall facial appearance. Sometimes wrinkles, especially fine lines, improve with certain types of skin care procedures applied in addition to the injection of fillers.

Answer: Juvederm doesn't look as good 3 days later If you liked the results you had right away then you liked what you looked like with more volume in there. When fillers like Juvederm are first injected they pull water to themselves right away and cause swelling. For some people, they love this and like how it looks, and then they are sad when the water dissipates and the swelling starts to resolve, like you. So, sadly, if you want the look you had originally, you need more filler. I'm wondering if perhaps a different filler would be more appropriate. I rarely use more than 2 syringes of Juvederm at once, because if I'm looking to add actual volume, fillers like Restylane, Perlane, or Voluma are better than Juvederm. But without photos or knowing where your 4 syringes were placed, it is hard to say if another filler would be a better choice if you do opt for more.
