I had an extended abdominoplasty 3 weeks ago, and appreciate that there is a lot of swelling in the tummy area. However, my upper thighs are also very swollen. I had to buy a larger pair of trousers, first of all to accommodate my tummy being swollen, but when I put them on, they hardly fit my thighs! Is this normal? And when should it resolve?

It is very common for the upper thighs to be swollen after an extended tummy tuck procedure. However, excessive swelling may be a sign of a more serious underlying condition and this should be determined by your plastic surgeon.
