I had a face lift, neck lift and eyelid surgery 9 weeks ago. my cheeks and chin look puffy to me and there are strange raised strings or sutures that can be palpated running down from my ear. Is this normal? do you think it might improve? thank you for your comments.

Based on your photos it appears that you may have the beginnings of hypertrophic scarring. You should follow up with your surgeon.

Puffiness 2 months after neck lift

It is easy for all of us on this forum to second guess the operating surgeon. But I agree with Dr. Trimus in that the puffiness may depend on the suture materials and technique that were used by your surgeon. The puffiness may still be normal at this point and I think you should discuss the "strings" with your surgeon.

Raised strings after a facelift

It is hard to tell from your pictures. However, if your surgeon used dissolvable sutures then they will resolve within 2 to 6 months depending upon the type of sutures used. You might want to discuss this issue with your surgeon if other material was used.
