Is It Normal to Feel Seasick a Week After Rhinoplasty?

I had a rhinoplasty abroad and for a week afterwards I felt lightly seasick. I wasn't feeling nauseous and could perform normal activities (except for reading), however I'm worried that the anesthesia could have affected my brain negatively. Also I woke up from anesthesia shivering uncontrollably for twenty minutes until a machine blowing hot air on me made me stop shivering. Are these things normal? Thank you so much for taking your time to answer my questions.

"Seasick" for 1 Week aftr Rhinoplasty

Cold and shivering immediately after general anesthesia does sometimes occur without long term consequences. The seasick feeling that you had for one week after surgery may have been secondary to the anesthetic drugs or the post-op medications. If you still have symptoms schedule an appointment with your physician for an evaluation.

No, this is not normal after Rhinoplasty and you should speak with your Rhinoplasty Surgeon about this issue. It could be a medication effect.

AS for feeling cold after surgery and having warm air blown onyou after surgery is normal. As for your symptoms it is difficult to say without an exam. But you should see a doctor to be evaluated.
