I had cheek bone implant removed after having them in for 8 weeks because it changed the way my bone looked in my face and I didn't want that to change, during the removal of the mallar implant thier was a lot of scraping against my bone that felt like a chisel. Can that have damaged my bone structure? Is that how that procedure is normally done? They were silicone implants and on the one side it slid rite out so I'm not sure y he used that scrape thing on both sides, please help I'm scared

Cheek Bone Scraping with Implant Removal

Cheek implants ultimately adhere to the underlying bone. Apparently, because one implant was more attached at the time of removal, your surgeon scraped the malar bone to remove that implant. If you had waited longer for removal he/she would have scraped the bones on both sides. No harm was done.
