Why Are Saunas Not Advisable for About One Month After Eyelid Surgery?

Are hot baths okay? Thank you in advance!

Saunas after eyelid surgery

Each surgeon will have their own post operative instructions, but I'm honestly not sure why yours is advising you to avoid saunas after one month. The only reason I can think of is that the heat may lead to some temporary swelling. My opinion is that after a month that a hot bath or sauna should be fine, but I would recommend checking with your surgeon first, as he or she knows more about your particular procedure than anyone else.
