After Restylane, Went back to see my board citified dermatologist and he simply said "sometimes we don't get the wanted results " I am so upset and scared I won't have my old face back. I don't want him touching my face and now looking for a plastic surgeon in manhattan that can help me. Will I get bruised from Hyaluronidase and how long until I se results ?
Answer: Bruising shouldn't occur unless you are taking blood thinners Filler migration, swelling, and granulomas can cause significant discomfort and cosmetic ramifications. Our office specializes in the use of enzymes and filler reversal techniques without hyaluronidase to help improve the results of botched cosmetic fillers, whether caused by Juvederm, Restylane, or foreign fillers. Our plastic surgery institute provides expertise in filler removal. We begin by examining the facial fillers and assessing the likelihood of fluctuance or liquid volumization. If appropriate, we use Hylenex, or other filler reversal agents to reduce swelling and filler migration. Hylenex can be targeted into the areas of concern using multiple layered injection techniques. If the filler does not completely resolve, then additional concentrations may be employed. The technique has the potential to reduce the filler and may slightly impact normal hyaluronic acid. Treatments are repeated and results can improve immediately and with time. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Hyaluronidase to remove filler Thank you for your question.Yes, the hyaluronidase injection can cause slight bruising but usually no worse than the bruising you got from your initial filler injection.Using a small needle helps and avoid Motrin, Aspirin and other NSAIDS.Results from hyaluronidase start immediately and are usually noticeable within 24 hours.I hope this helps.

Answer: Bruising after hyaluronidase injection? The needle that is used for hyaluronidase injections can be very small (similar to the size of a Botox needle). This significantly cuts down on the risk of bruising but every injection can create a bruise. Avoiding aspirin containing medications and taking Arnica montana can further reduce the risk of a bruise. You should start to see results within 1-2 days after hyaluronidase treatment. I hope this information is helpful.Stephen Weber MD, FACSDenver Facial Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Is there normally bruising after hyaluronidase injection? Any time a needle is used for an injection on the face, it is possible to get bruising. The area around the eyes is one of the areas most likely to get bruising if it occurs at all. I would say that most people do not get bruising after hyaluronidase injection, but it is possible. Normally, there is visible improvement within a day or so after the hyaluronidase is used.

Answer: Bruising after hyaluronidase Any time a needle enters the skin there is a chance for a bruise. However, I have not seen excessive bruising with hyaluronidase. If a patient does bruise, it's usually a small bruise which doesn't last too long. Hyaluronidase begins working immediately upon injection. It is done working within about 24 hours. So you will see results very quickly. Depending upon the depth of the filler and the amount used, sometimes you do need to have it done more than once.
