Festoon from long-lasting filler? Will hyaluronidase work? (photos)

Unfortunately sometimes injectable fillers create unwanted problems. When too much HA fillers (filler made with hyaluronic acid) are used, or the filler is in the wrong place or sometimes there is just excessive swelling for some reason, then it can often be reversed with hyaluronidase. This enzyme spreads into the filler and often quickly disperses and weakens it sometimes in minutes.  We have see swelling and fillers under the eyelids that has lasted 3 years later even though conventional wisdom says it should not last that long.  Hyaluronidase has been effective for this in our experience.

Juvederm injections under your lower eyelids can precipitate a greater degree of swelling compared to Restylane or Belotero but since  the injections took place "a couple of years ago" it is unlikely that the material is still present.In regard to your diagonal lines these appear due to a deflation and flattening of your "mid-face" and I would suggest that you consider injections of either Voluma, Restylane Lyft (Perlane), Radiesse,or fat grafting.
