Can diabetics have laser resurfacing? Does diabetes cause less than average laser resurfacing results?
Answer: Lasers in controlled diabetics Yes a medically controlled diabetic can have laser resurfacing without any increased risk in my opinion. Results should be no different. Of course, other factors come into play such as collagen vascular disease, age, and skin color. Please consult with a board certified surgeon or dermatologist.

Answer: Diabetes and Laser Resurfacing Generally speaking, as long as your diabetes is in control and you are in good physical health otherwise, you should be able to reap the benefits of a laser resurfacing procedure. Your diabetes should not interfere with your ability to have the treatment done, or make the treatment any less effective. Of course, this is by no mean a guarantee. For a more personalized answer, consult with your physician before moving forward with any such cosmetic treatment.

Answer: Laser treatments for diabetics Diabetics who are in good control and healthy can absolutely have these types of treatments. My daughter has type 1 diabetes and has for 37 years. I have treated her with various cosmetic procedures over the years and she handles them wonderfully. But she's also in very good health and has well-controlled sugars. "This answer has been solicited without seeing this patient and cannot be held as true medical advice, but only opinion. Seek in-person treatment with a trained medical professional for appropriate care."
