I've Been Getting Carboxytherapy (In Combination with Endermologie), Now I'd Like to Try Velashape?

I'm pleased with the results thus far, lost a few inches and figure is definitely more streamlined, but the cellulite is still there on my thighs (side benefit from the carboxytherapy is that my skin looks wonderful). I bought a package deal for Velashape at new medi-spa and was told at my old medi-spa I had to wait 2-3 weeks after my last carboxytherapy to start the Velashape (but she wasn't sure) as my skin could get discolored. Is this correct?
