I had an IPL freckle removal procedure done by an RN and had some pretty intense pain after (could barely drive home). The pain went away after several hours, but I developed bumps (blisters?) all up and down both arms. The nurse told me these weren't actually blisters, and that this was to be expected, but I just feel a bit uncomfortable with her answer . . . especially after googling around. (Normal patients seem to experience minimal pain/swelling?) Photo attached. Does this look "normal"?

Physiologically it does not seem likely that IPL treatments will make a rhinophyma worse as it is used to treat Rosacea, the cause of a Rhinophyma. On the other hand it is not strong enough to treat a rhinophyma due to the thickness of this process.
Asian skin typically responds very well to IPL to treat freckles and other brown spots on the face. As you know, Asian skin is also very sensitive and can scar very easily as well. Because of this, the person doing your IPL may be using very conservative settings. If you...
