How long does scar tissue take to shrink?
I had rhinoplasty about 5 weeks ago to narrow a wide bridge. The sides of my bridge/the skin on the side of my bridge appears to be swollen. The bridge itself is thin. It also swells in the morning, and with heat. Will this contract over time?

Swelling after rhinoplasty can take months to resolve
It will take several months for the final 'form' of your surgically altered nose to be evident. The nose retains 'swelling' for a much longer period of time than other portions of the body. Give yourself time to recover from surgery before evaulating the final result.
